This program has been a launchpad for many Urbis leaders, some even rising to Director-level positions. As a student, you’ll be involved in real, multidisciplinary projects, collaborating with experts with diverse experiences and backgrounds. At the end of your internship, you’ll graduate with a distinct advantage – armed with enviable industry experience and lifelong connections.

We’re looking for students who’ll bring a fresh perspective to Urbis, along with curiosity, creativity and a genuine passion for making a positive impact. Beyond your studies, we want to understand what drives you – your ideas, ambitions – and how you’ll contribute to the unique culture of our multidisciplinary team.

While academic progress and relevant coursework are important, we recognise that qualities like problem-solving, effective communication and teamwork matter just as much. If you’re eager to grow, learn and help shape cities and communities, we’d love to hear from you.

1. Get to know Urbis
   Explore who we are and what we do. This is where you’ll discover how your interests and studies align with our people, projects and capabilities.
2. Apply online
   Visit our Careers page [link?] and apply for the student internship role(s) that interest you. Upload your resume and a tailored cover letter, along with your most recent academic transcript and any other required documents (like a portfolio).
3. Complete an online assessment
   You’ll then be sent a short online psychometric assessment. No preparation needed. It’s not a test, simply a tool we use to understand your strengths and working style.
4. Invited to a face-to-face interview
   Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a face-to-face interview in your local Urbis office. This is a great opportunity for you to meet our talented colleagues, get a glimpse of our office environment and witness first-hand the atmosphere that drives our work.
5. Receive a formal offer
   If you’re successful, our Talent team will give you a phone call to formally offer you a position in our program. Congratulations, your exciting journey with Urbis now begins.

• Be enrolled in a course relevant to the role
• Stay enrolled throughout the internship program
• Have the legal right to work in the internship location (citizenship or valid visa)
• Be available to work 2–4 days per week during the program
