Alex Nunn

Alex Nunn is a Certified Practising Valuer and leads Urbis’ NSW Compensation and Litigation services. He advises clients on compulsory acquisition, compensation and property disputes, providing strategic valuation and advisory expertise across a diverse range of asset classes. Since joining Urbis in 2018, Alex has worked on complex litigation and compensation matters involving freehold, leasehold and subterranean interests. His experience spans feasibility analysis, valuation advisory and dispute-related matters associated with major infrastructure and development projects. Alex also advises landowners and project stakeholders on Public Benefit Frameworks and Voluntary Planning Agreements, helping clients navigate planning and commercial considerations to support well-informed project outcomes. Known for his clear and practical approach, Alex works closely with clients, legal representatives and government agencies to provide advice that is rigorous, balanced and commercially grounded. He was recently appointed Property Acquisition lead for the High Speed Rail business case and continues to advise on state significant compulsory acquisition matters.
