Laura Thomas

Laura is a Town Planner with more than 25 years’ experience in private practice, including in economic consulting. She has experience planning a wide range of properties in the retail and leisure/entertainment sectors, and coordinates multidisciplinary consulting teams to deliver complete and comprehensive application materials. Laura has appeared on behalf of private clients at Planning Panels Victoria, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, and the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation. Her recent career highlight includes approval for the redevelopment of Marvel Stadium, Docklands on behalf of the AFL. This approval ensures the stadium will be maintained as a world-class venue that maximises community benefit and strengthens Victoria’s status as the sporting and entertainment capital of Australia.
